Turkey Legs— Gigantic Finger Food
So, I’ve been pretty lazy about cooking since school started back (home-school).
This week I couldn’t even muster the energy to write a grocery list. So, I had my kids do it. Can you believe the list was like all carbs? This is why children need mothers.
Gabe, my youngest, surprised me by asking me to make Turkey legs. He had only had Smoked turkey legs at Disney World. I was up for the challenge! The meal turned out really fun. Five year olds are smart.
I brined the turkey first because it makes the meat more tender and flavorful..
